Going Dutch

Dutch design is well known for it's conceptual and often daring approach. Apart from that there are some industrial design innovations that came from the little country full of frogs and dairy cows. Think of the storm-proof Senz Umbrella or the Lady P (a urinoir for ladies), the Bugaboo, Philips electronics and lot's of bicycle designs. Industrial designers are included in the earliest phases of innovative processes and the production development cycle.

Some Famous Dutch designers are: Hella Jongerius, Marcel Wanders, Gerrit Rietveld, Gerard van den Berg, Maarten Baas, Jurgen Bey, Richard Hutten, Wieki Somers, Hester van Eeghen.

Design a home with furniture from Dutch designers or companies.
